Its Beginning to Look Like Christmas

We all got ready one Sunday afternoon to go get the Christmas tree. I had high hopes of going to a tree farm. I remember as a child going to the farm and picking just the perfect tree for us. We would cut it down and carry it to the car. I some what remember taking a hay ride and drinking hot cider. I just knew that was the experience we were going to have with Samuel this year. Well, I was wrong. There was no hay ride, no hot cider, and no walk through the tree farm. When we got to the farm there was about 15 trees to pick from. Needless to say we got less than a perfect tree. However, Samuel had fun!

He was excited to be getting ready for the big trip to the tree farm.
Well, here is the "perfect" tree. If you look in Samuel's had you will see a little tin cup. This was our free gift. He ended up picking up a rock in the parking lot. He still has the rock and tin cup that he plays with often.

He really enjoyed helping with the lights.

This picture is hard to see but here is the tree all decorated.
