Last week we celebrated Samuel's 6 month birthday. I took this picture just before leaving for daycare. As you can see, he is not really into taking pictures at 6:45 in the morning. Who can blame him?
John and I promised Samuel to leave work at 3:30 and spend the entire afternoon and evening with him: no cooking, no cleaning, no washing clothes, no bottle making, etc. John did just as promised I however did not leave until 3:45. I felt like a terrible mother! We did do as planned. We ordered pizza and played the rest of the night.
We did make one detour...to Wal-Mart. John decided Samuel needed a little plastic car to ride around in and ICE CREAM.
I can hear John now saying, "We need to go get him some ice cream!" My girls still talk about spending the night at Aunt Liney and Uncle John's old house and Uncle John getting them ice cream!
ReplyDeleteHe loved every minute of it. It broke his heart awhile back when MA made her comment about the ice cream.
