Today marks week 14 for us. I am feeling so much better. I am beginning to see why so many people enjoy being pregnant. I feel wonderful! I am eating everything in sight. I have learned an important lesson: don't wait too long to eat a meal. You get unbelievably hungry and it is hard to ever get full again. Trust me... I will keep a bag of snacks with me at all times. I will post a picture this weekend I promise.
John is already trying to make the baby smart. He bought me a MP3 player for my birthday. He has me play the baby music each night.
John and I went to the doctor yesterday for a check up. We heard the heart beat for the first time. It was amazing. Hearing the heartbeat seemed to make the baby real to me. We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for some bloodwork.
When we left the doctor's office we headed to Best Buy. We wanted to buy a video camera to video the life of our child. We not only bought a video camera but we also had to get a new computer. I must say... the new laptop is a far cry from our old laptop. The new computer will make is much easier for me to update this page. All we need now is a baby to video.
