John's Addition to the Room

John added his special touch to the baby room.

And the unlodading begins..................

Well, we got the truck unloaded. Everything is in the house. As you can see in the pictures we have lots of stuff. My goal today was to get everything out of the boxes and sorted. I achieved my goal. Now I need to empty out a few drawers to put the stuff in. After all.... I do have some time. Right!!!!!!!!!!!!
She said: Oh my!!!!!!!! Look at all of this stuff. I can't wait for the baby to be here.
He said: Thank you Jill and Erskine! You have no idea how thankful we are.

Before Baby Pictures

These are two pictures of our house before the truck was unloaded. The picture on the left is our guest bedroom that is going to be transformed into baby/guest room. The picture on the right is a shelf that is been a collect all in our living room. I could not decide what purpose it should have.... so it gets a little of everything.
She said: How am I every going to get all of the baby stuff into this room and make it look like a baby's room.
He said: Caroline it will be fine. We still have 4 1/2 months before the baby will be here.

Getting Ready For Baby Hunt: The Trip to Georgia

John and I went to Clinton Friday night after work. We spent Friday night with his parents and had lunch with my parents on Saturday. Before we left to return to Georgia Saturday afternoon we stopped by Jill and Erskine's house to go "baby shopping". We are very lucky to be able to borrow these items. We were so packed in John's truck on the way home. I had to ride sideways to watch the items in the back to make sure nothing blew out.

She said: I am thankful to be home. I worried the whole way home the cradle my dad made when we were babies would fly out. I knew I would never live it down.

He said: I did not worry at all...my wing man had it taken care of. We did not lose a thing.

AFP Test

Last Friday, I had the AFP test. We got the results on Wednesday. The test came back good. It was such a relief to know there was one less thing we needed to worry about. The wait nearly killed us.

I feel wonderful. I am beginning to have trouble sleeping at night. I just can not get used to the side sleeping deal. I am much to big now to sleep on my stomach which is my favorite sleeping position.

John and I are very excited about this weekend. We are going home for his mother's birthday. While we are in Clinton, we are going to pick up a few baby items for my sisters house. We are so fortunate to be blessed with such loving family. Thank you Jill and Erskine for all of the baby items you are allowing us to use. We promise to take good care of it.

We go back to the doctor next Friday for our monthly checkup. I will let you know how it goes. Stay tuned for an updated picture.

Okay! Here is the long awaited picture. I am currently 14 weeks. I however can not blame all of the tummy on the baby. Most if not all of the tummy is due to my pre-baby bad eating habits.
